Academy For Protectors
GDBA offers training for Protectors responsible for the safety and security of public figures, at-risk individuals, and C-suite executives. Students gain critical skills in close protection, residential security, and threat mitigation reinforced through stress inoculation and realistic simulated combat exercises. This course offers hands-on experience designed to prepare Protectors to prevent, respond, and manage high-risk situations with confidence and precision.
Advanced Public Figure Protection
GDBA offers advanced training for Security Professionals directly engaged in public figure protection. Built upon the principles outlined in Just 2 Seconds, the Advanced Public Figure Protection course prepares Protectors to prevent, respond to, and manage critical situations. Through realistic, scenario-based exercises, students develop skills in courses such as anti-assassination strategy, public appearance protection, and post-attack medical response.
Advanced Threat Assessment Training
GDBA assembles the best and brightest threat assessment practitioners for the nation’s highest-level training in Threat Assessment and Management. For more than 25 years, corporate security, law enforcement, government agencies, schools and universities, legal and human resources, and mental health experts have attended this academy.
Customized Advanced Trainings
GDBA offers customized training based upon the principles in our other Threat Assessment and Public Figure protection courses. We work with you to carefully curate the content to align directly with your audience and their abilities. These customized courses can be held at our Training Facility in San Antonio or at another location of your choosing.

GDBA's Strategic Advisory Group is a carefully selected group of Safety and Security experts from the CIA, FBI, US Secret Service, US Marshal's Service, the US Military and private security. They have decades of experience in executive protection, personal security and threat assessment.
